ninth Heritage In The Homeland Sale was November 7 at the Canadian
Valley Ranch sale facility in Seminole, Oklahoma. The sale featured a
quality selection of fullblood, purebred and Lim-Flex cattle, including
spring pairs, fall pairs, bred females and open heifers. A sizeable
crowd was on hand to evaluate the 51-lot offering and keep the bidding
active throughout the sale. The volume buyer was McCoy Ranches of
Lindsay, Oklahoma, with 12 head.
$6,400—Top-selling lot—MATL
Miss Jewel 504, a 9/5/05 homozygous black, double polled 75% Lim-Flex
daughter of GPF Black Diamond Plus out of MWFS 9220J, was purchased by
WP & Co. of Guthrie, Oklahoma, for $1,500. She sold bred to LH
Rodemaster 338R. Her 1/2/10 homozygous black, double polled daughter of
SBLX Tool Box 4385T sold to Jordan Leatherman of Muskogee, Oklahoma,
for $4,900. The pair were consigned by Young and Rogers Farm
of Windthorst, Texas.

4/19/08 homozygous black, homozygous polled 50% Lim-Flex daughter of
EXLR Neo 614N out of CHR Necklace 398N. She sold bred to LH U Haul 135U.
Her 3/5/10 homozygous black, homozygous polled 50% Lim-Flex daughter by
KRVN Unlimited L527U, sold to Ryan Hefner of Seminole, Oklahoma,
for $4,000. The pair was consigned by Coyote Hills Ranch of Chattanooga,
Oklahoma.

Howell, of Lindsay, Oklahoma. Her 4/21/10 homozygous black,
homozygous polled 75% Lim-Flex daughter by DHVO Trey 133R sold to
Jordan Leatherman for $2,000.

homozygous black, double polled, 75% Lim-Flex bull calf by LH Rodemaster

The 29th Annual Oklahoma Select
Limousin Bull Sale was December 11 in Durant. Nineteen consignors from
six states made up the 82-head offering of registered Limousin and
Lim-Flex bulls. A large crowd of commercial cattlemen and seedstock
producers came to evaluate the cattle and they were willing to pay a
premium for the quality bulls as the sale averaged $617 more than it did
one year ago.
$10,000—Top-selling lot—Burnett
Brothers of Hale Center, Texas, had the winning bid on MAGS
Whirligig, a 4/7/09 black, polled, 50% Lim-Flex son of BC 7022 Raven
7965 out of MAGS Manda. He was consigned by Magness Land & Cattle of
Platteville, Colorado, and DJ Limousin of Port Orchard, Washington.

Family Limousin of Anton, Texas, consigned LFL Wages 9041W, a 5/16/09
black, polled son of DHVO Trey 133R out of LFL Reba 5001R. He was
