The youth organization of OLBA is
one of the most successful and
active junior Limousin associations
in the nation, and probably one of
the most important aspects of OLBA
because the juniors are the future
of our breed.
The Oklahoma Junior Limousin
Association members participate from
the local to the national level not
only in shows, but leadership
activities as well.
A field day is held each summer,
sponsored by the OJLA, which
includes a heifer show, a judging
contest and recreation and
leadership activities for OJLA
members.
OJLA also participates in the OJCA
Preview Show held each summer in
Stillwater, as well as many other
activities throughout the year.
Currently, two college scholarships
are awarded each year in memory of
past OLBA President and OJLA Advisor
Dean McKee and OJLA Member Nate
Wright. These scholarships are
presented to outstanding graduating
high school seniors and/or college
freshmen who are members of OJLA.
